GLOVIZ
Two series that should have nothing to do with each other

Surprise me

GLOVIZ picked US 2-year Treasury yield from FRED, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and Consumer price index POL from International Monetary Fund, paired them on time, and found a correlation of -0.692 over 44 matched observations. Two different institutions, two different measurement programmes, no shared mechanism. That is the point: with a thousand series, coincidences are cheap.
